Saturday, November 19, 2022 @ 7:00PMSat, Nov 19, 2022 @ 7:00PM

Rear Window Listening Room, 107 E Menefee, Ganado, Texas

Rear Window Listening Room is proud to welcome singer, songwriter, and musician Dana Cooper back to the stage! Cooper’s lifelong passion & devotion to music began at age 2 in Kansas City. His father, George, was a huge influence. One of Dana's earliest memories is of his father taking him to the Calico Cat, popping a coin in the jukebox and listening to Dana sing along with Hank Williams & Ernest Tubb.

At age 20 a move to LA resulted in a record deal with Elektra Records where he recorded his first album with members of “The Section” Russ Kunkel and Leleand Sklar, as well as other luminary players Jim Horn, Al Perkins, Jim Gordon, Joe Osborne, and Lee Holdridge. This album still wins accolades today and was recently reissued on the Warner/Japan label.

After several years in California and a year recording in Seattle, Cooper moved to Texas where he wrote and performed with Shake Russell. They released several independent albums and one album for Southcoast/MCA.

Dana formed his own experimental bands, DC3, and Nuclear Family and released his first solo project Complicated Stuff. In 1988 he moved to Nashville, TN to pursue his songwriting career collaborating with other songwriters:

Tom Kimmel Sally Barris Don Henry Pat Alger Hal Ketchum Kim Carnes Josh Leo Pierce Pettis Kim Richey Allen Shamblin

His years as a Troubadour is measured by his impressive 28 Albums and Collection of Accolades:

• In the Spirit of Folk Award from Folk Alliance International (2015)

• Heritage Musician Award from The Pilgrim Center for the Arts in Kansas City,

MO (2014)

• Veteran Recurring Performer at Kerrville Folk Festival

• Best Male Songwriter Award Indie Acoustic Project, for Made of Mud (2005).

• Best Record Award The Tennesseean, for Harry Truman Built a Road (2002)

• Nashville Music Award Nomination Best Pop Album for Miracle Mile (1997)

Cooper’s songs have been recorded by a variety of artists such as bluegrass singer Claire Lynch, Irish vocalist Maura O’Connell, Nashville songbird Jonell Mosser, as well as songwriters Pierce Pettis and Susan Werner. His incredible catalogue and musical sensibilities have led to endorsements from AirPlay Direct and Elixir Strings.

With his upcoming CD I Can Face the Truth Cooper faces hard truths head on with humor and heartfelt expression. Joining forces with Co-Producer and multi-instrumentalist Dave Coleman the two enlisted some of the best songwriters, singers, and musicians from the US and Ireland. Collaborators in the studio include Tom Kimmel, Kim Richey, Jonell Mosser, Maura O’Connell, Brother Paul Brown, David Starr, Rebecca Folsom, and Gillian Tuite. Expect I Can Face the Truth to be Released Early 2022 with an expansive CD Release Tour to follow. www.danacoopermuisc.com Rear Window Listening Room is an UPSTAIRS venue. Ganado Townhall Players Community Theatre is proud to present our annual summer children's production! Two of literature's most unforgettable young ladies get mixed up together in a magical meeting that produces hilarious results as the audience becomes reacquainted with a cast of familiar characters and sees them in a new light: the Cowardly Lion, the White Rabbit, the Tin Man, the Mad Hatter, the Scarecrow, the Dormouse, the Queen and the Witch from those enduring classics The Wizard of Oz and Alice in Wonderland. This fun-filled romp follows Alice and Dorothy and their coteries as they try to unscramble their stories with the help of a contemporary young lad who started the whole thing to begin with when he put off a book report until the very last minute. Friday, July 1, 2022 @ 7:00PMFri, Jul 1, 2022 @ 7:00PM

Rear Window Listening Room, 107 E Menefee, Ganado, Texas

Rear Window favorite Hamilton Loomis returns to rock the evening with bassist Mike Meade on "bass and feet" in a show you shouldn't miss! Born and raised in Galveston, Texas, Loomis is the son of musician parents who listened to blues, rock and soul. Music ran in his veins and, with instruments readily available around the house, he picked up drums, piano, guitar and harmonica, honing his multi-instrumental talent in addition to performing regularly as part of his family’s doo-wop group. “My parents had a fantastic record collection and, when I started writing, I gravitated towards what I’d been listening to all my life. I have a huge reverence for the blues and all it encompasses, but I’ve always been fond of R&B and funky music.” A protégé of Bo Diddley, Loomis met the icon backstage at the age of 16 at Houston’s famed venue Rockefeller’s. Before the night was over, Loomis was onstage playing guitar with the legend. Diddley quickly became friend, mentor, collaborator and supporter, appearing on two of Loomis’ albums and presenting a cherished red guitar that he still plays. image14 “That one night began my education and I spent a lot of time with Bo over the years listening to him tell so many stories,” said Loomis. “He was so generous and most people don’t know that he was really philanthropic. He played free concerts around his hometown for homeless shelters, schools and anyone that just needed help. He was always giving! That’s another thing that planted the GIVE IT BACK seed in my mind. It’s all coming full circle.” Loomis and crew shine on stage proving his music is best experienced in person, where one can see and hear its intended splendor. Described by Blues Blast Magazine as “a non-stop turbo of power, one minute moving from side to side of the stage, and then taking on his horn player in a head-cutting contest on the apron of the stage the next minute.” Loomis’ energetic, get-in-with–the-crowd antics are infectious. The swaying and clapping are just as he envisioned. “Being comfortable on stage is something that comes completely natural to me,” he says. “I feel joy when I play music and it literally moves me. It moves my body. I learned long ago that whenever music is coming from you, from deep inside your soul and from the right place, people will feel that on a deeper level and might not even know what’s going on inside of themselves. I enjoy engaging the crowd and feel a show should be an interactive experience.”www.hamiltonloomis.com Doors open and dinner served at 7pm, show begins 8pm MENU TO BE ANNOUNCED Rear Window Listening Room is an UPSTAIRS venue. MY BROTHER'S KEEPER Returns To The Rear Window

Friday, June 17, 2022 @ 7:00PMFri, Jun 17, 2022 @ 7:00PM

Rear Window Listening Room, 107 E Menefee, Ganado, Texas

The Rear Window is excited to get back to LIVE MUSIC and to be able to welcome My Brother's Keeper all the way from Cincinnati, OH!

Growing up together, and surrounded by music, My Brother's Keeper has played music together for years, but not under this official band name. MBK was raised on the genres of Folk, Bluegrass, and Gospel, so the growing popularity of Folk music opened a door for MBK to take the music they love to eager audiences. However, MBK does not limit themselves musically, influenced by bands of many different genres and backgrounds. MBK strives to seek inspiration anywhere and use it in an original manner.

MBK consists of brothers Benjamin, Titus, and Joshua Luckhaupt on guitar, mandolin, and fiddle respectively. Wyatt "Sawmill" Murray completes this ensemble on the upright bass. With original music that draws inspiration from Bluegrass, Rock and everything in between, MBK strives to be unique as well as listenable. MBK features tight, four part harmonies, rock driven lead vocals, blazing solos, and complex and interlaced musical interludes. In an effort to be unique and open minded, and bring a fresh blend of Bluegrass to new audiences, My Brother's Keeper has presented itself as one of the fastest rising Bluegrass bands on the scene of Cincinnati music.

"With original music that draws inspiration from bluegrass to rock and everything in between, MBK strives to be unique as well as listenable." - Globe Gazette, Mason City, IA

CRANK UP THE SILENCE Returns to the Rear Window

CRANK UP THE SILENCE Returns to the Rear Window

Friday, April 29, 2022 @ 7:00PMFri, Apr 29, 2022 @ 7:00PM

Rear Window Listening Room, 107 E Menefee, Ganado, Texas

Rear Window Listening Room is excited to welcome Crank Up The Silence back to our stage!

If you listen to the noise of the world, it’s not saying much. If you listen to the silence, you can hear what needs to be said. Based out of the city hailed as the most diverse in the nation, the band CRANK UP THE SILENCE combines compelling lyrics with soulful and driving musicianship. The five band members found each other in Houston’s music scene, but come from four different countries, speak three different languages, and play a myriad of instruments. Their varied musical backgrounds and experiences blend into a common unified language.

Songwriter, lead singer, and guitarist, Leif Måsvær began forming CRANK UP THE SILENCE in 2018 out of a need to use music to say things that weren’t being said – or heard. The four band members he recruited were drawn to Leif’s vision because of the unprecedented songwriting and exceptional talent that would make up this group.

The band name – CRANK UP THE SILENCE – and the band’s logo – an empty couch – are two foundational principles of the band. The empty couch is a symbol of invitation, of deep relationships, and real talk – of dreams, of pain, connection, heartbreak, and shared experiences. And the name, CRANK UP THE SILENCE, is a reminder to listen. To hear. To connect. And to learn from each other.

Blending multiple genres and musical influences from around the globe, SILENCE’s sound has been described as making the “new feel familiar, and the familiar feel new.”

Leif Måsvær – lead vocals, guitar Johandy Urena Guaba – drums Euan Mackay – guitar Steve Ruth – bass Angie Ruth – keyboard, vocals

Unfortunately, things have not been very pleasant at Magnolia Place Assisted Living since Nurse Pat Jones began working there. The newest resident, Imogene Fletcher, is suddenly losing her memory. Maude Jenkins is obsessed with her favorite soap opera and planning her own funeral. Sam Smith, retired Elvis impersonator, keeps trying to bed every woman in the building. A mystery unfolds with laughter as the gals try to outsmart the evil Nurse Pat Jones and figure out why so many residents have been moved to “the dark side,” what exactly IS that mysterious pill, and what happened to Doctor Head?
