George Remus was a respected pharmacist and lawyer. His circles were society’s upper echelon. His parties were legendary, and his generosity was unmatched…except by his ruthlessness.

Behind the scenes, Remus built a criminal empire and vast fortune and became the undisputed King of the Bootleggers. Finally, the king himself comes forward to tell his story. Remus tells of his humble beginnings, his rise to power in prohibition era America, and the betrayal that led to murder.

Rear Window Listening Room will provide the setting for this unique event. The Slopper Pub will be onsite for beverages, and Lavaca Bluffs will be catering the dinner.

The entertainment will be provided Patrick McLaughlin, an award-winning published playwright from Victoria, Texas, bringing to life the one and only George Remus.

BEVERAGE - One Boulevardier - a classic bourbon-forward cocktail combining Campari and sweet vermouth, stirred with ice and garnished with an orange peel. The Slopper Pub will be on hand to provide the cash bar for additional beverages

Rear Window Listening Room is an UPSTAIRS venue. There is a lift chair for those requiring assistance.

Doors open and dinner is served at 7pm.
