Long Overdue, this reunion is really something quite special. Jeffrey East, Rebecca Vine, & Dee Briggs will, once again, take the stage at the Rear Window Listening Room, and we are extremely excited about this show. Born in Texas, raised in Kentucky, and coming to us from Nashville, Jeffrey East has made great strides in securing his place among the best songwriters in the world. His songs have been picked up by major artists whose names are familiar to you. Additionally, those of you have met and heard Jeffrey at the Rear Window before, will attest to his unbelievably awesome vocal gifting. At the Rear Window, we have a "Rear Window Artist's Mix" of the artists we have presented and/or who are coming up; without fail, when one of Jeffrey's songs come up, one or more people ask, "who is that?"

When Rebecca Vine moved to Nashville in 2002, little did she figure that she would connect with such upcoming, talented artists as Jeffrey, and Dee. I believe one of her first performances "in the round" was with Jeffrey. Rebecca is no stranger to Texas, in that she first visited here in 1986 at the age of three, and recorded her first album right here in Ganado, Texas. She will have it available for purchase. In May of 2010, Nashville experienced a severe flood and sometime during the following few months, Rebecca strain of toxic mold made its way into her respiratory system. After 2 or 3 surgeries in Nashville, it kept coming back, so she moved back to California, where she currently lives and continues to write and create awesome paintings.

One of the busiest guitarists and songwriters in the business, Dee Briggs is either writing, co-writing, performing live, or in a studio session laying down guitar tracks. That leaves him a little time for food & sleep, but not much! Dee's first visit here was due to another musician having to cancel, but there's no doubt the heavens were smiling on us. Dee's Randy Newmanesque voice, his clever lyrics and his studio level guitar work blew us away. Dee Briggs is a songwriter in Nashville, TN. Originally from Orange County, CA, Dee’s blend of styles and influences keep him fresh and current in the modern music scene. Having fed on a wide range of sounds from Hall & Oates to Hank, Aerosmith to Alison Krauss, there’s no limit to what Dee can and will write. You can hear Dee’s songs from artists such as The Lost Trailers, Katie Armiger, Tiffany, and more.
