YIKERS!!! We are very fortunate to be having such incredibly talented and truly GIFTED singers, songwriters and musicians coming to the Rear Window Listening Room, and SHOTGUN PARTY is no exception. From what I have heard, this is, without a doubt, a trio of virtuoso performers that has been playing together for a few years. Their musical gifting is evident the moment they begin to sing or play. Sadly, this is a stop on their farewell tour, but we are grateful to be one of their last venues to play. Thanks, Shotgun Party, for bringing your incredible music to the Rear Window and its patrons! Don't miss the opportunity to hear this marvelous band! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jg6Ymh20vQ8&feature=related Shotgun Party- Get it while you can- Farewell Tour! - March 28, 2011
Dear Friends,
We have a big announcement! This year will be our last year of extensive touring in our beautiful USA and abroad. We are all still super buddies, but we have decided that it's time to move on! So do you know what this means? It means that this is your last chance to party with us and hear this Texas Swing Pop music live! It means that you've gotta come out to our shows, bring out your friends and families, give us extra high fives, grab a copy of our latest album "Here's what you're gettin'!", sing along even louder, and have a super fun last year with us! It means- "GET IT WHILE YOU CAN!!!!" We will miss seeing you all. Thanks for all the love, Shotgun Party (Jenny, Katy and ATAP!) dates at www.shotgunfiesta.com shotgunparty@gmail.com The original Shotgun Party trio met in a little Texas dive bar in 2006. They got their start performing weekly at Austin's own Continental Club. Sparks flew and now Shotgun Party, the Austin based trio, really knows how to fire up a crowd! Their original songs are beautiful and timeless drawing influences from early blues, country, bluegrass and depression era swing. Katy Rose Cox's fearles fiddling is simply virtuosic. Miss Jenny Parrott's gorgeous vocals and addictive songs will bring you to your knees. ...and introducing Shotgun Party's newest member, Andrew Austin-Petersen (formerly of the Shake 'Em Ups) on show stopping upright bass! With tight harmonies and lively stage antics, Shotgun party will leave you with a smile ear to ear. Don't miss 'em!! http://www.brownpapertickets.com/event/179309
