Local Singer-Songwriter, Jack Motley, takes the stage at the Rear Window for the first time on Saturday, March 26, 2011 at 7:30 PM. Jack will be taking the stage with his singer-songwriter sister, Mary Martha, so this will be a real treat for us! And if THAT is not enough for you, sometime during the second set, Jack & Mary Martha will be accompanied by two "other" guests. You don't want to miss this.

With song titles such as "Hotel in Ganado," "Shiner Blond," and "Gimme Back My Egg," Jack Motley of Edna, Texas takes things that we see or hear about in everyday life, and crafts them into songs that will make you laugh, cry or think or all three at the same time! We are very happy to be bringing Jack's home-grown style of music to the Rear Window!

Now, I get to tell you some of what I know about the marvelous Mary Martha. First of all, Jack, tells me that she is a wonderful singer-songwriter, so I am confident that we are in for a real treat! I'm pretty sure that Mary Martha is interested in glaciers, the northern lights, glass(?) and the the high desert; she also likes Star Trek (original cast) and Andy Griffith. I really can't wait to hear her play & sing!

Lastly, at some point during the last set, Jack & Mary Martha will be joined by a couple of mystery guests on bass & acoustic guitar. This is really something you just don't want to miss, because although there has been a good deal of rehearsal, you just never know how these things will turn out. One thing is FOR CERTAIN, you cannot come to this show and not have a good time!!!
